How Do You Prepare Your Kegel Balls?

  • It is important to practice good hygiene when handling and using your kegel weights. Follow the below instructions before use:

    1. Thoroughly wash hands with antibacterial soap.
    2. Wash weights with mild soap and warm water.
    3. Dry weights with a clean towel.
    4. Apply a generous amount of water-based lubricant to weights to ease insertion.

     

    Do not use silicone or oil-based lubricants, as they can damage your weights or cause irritation.

How Do You Insert Kegel Balls?

Once your kegel weights have been properly prepared, follow the below instructions.

  1. Apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the opening of your vagina.
  2. Find a comfortable sitting or standing position and gently insert the weight the way you would a tampon.
  3. Once it's comfortably in place with the cord outside of your body, tighten your pelvic floor muscles to hold it inside. If it feels like it is falling out, gently push it back in. The weight should be securely in place while you exercise.
