Women who experience pelvic floor problems, such as urinary incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse, can benefit from performing Kegel exercises with weights or balls. Available in different sizes and weights, Kegel weights inserted in the vagina can strengthen your pelvic floor muscles to help you control your bladder to reduce leakage, and are equally helpful for treating pelvic organ prolapse. Improving pelvic floor strength can help prevent pelvic organs from dropping further out of position.

Exercising with our Kegel Weights - Set of 7 replicates the movements your pelvic muscles make when you pee. Using the weights correctly should feel like starting and stopping the flow of urine midstream. Over time, this simple Kegel exercise system will strengthen and tone pelvic floor muscles and tighten the vagina.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about Kegel Weights

What Do Weights Do for Your Pelvic Floor Muscles?

Women have used traditional ben wa balls to strengthen vaginal muscles and address pelvic floor problems for centuries. Over the years, these small, weighted balls that help in contracting and relaxing vaginal muscles with ease have been continually developed to improve their efficacy.

Kegel balls are also known to boost sexual pleasure, earning them nicknames like orgasm balls, Venus balls, love balls, and pleasure balls. By giving your muscles an object to contract around, you can feel the muscles tighten when you squeeze and lift. Consequently, these balls don't just strengthen your pelvic floor muscles, but also tone your vagina, which can lead to more enjoyment during sex.

Non-contact traditional Kegel exercises, such as contraction during urination, work the same muscles as these weights do. However, an exercise program that includes resistance training with vaginal weights will strengthen and tone the pelvic floor muscles much faster. These muscles support a number of internal organs, so resistance is as critical to Kegels as strength.

Who Can Use Kegel Balls?

Women of all ages can enjoy the benefits of exercising with Kegel weights. However, if you have certain medical conditions, you should consult your physician or therapist before starting pelvic floor exercises.

Talk to your doctor if you:

  • Are expectant or in a childbirth recovery phase
  • Are recovering from gynecological surgery
  • Are experiencing pelvic pain
  • Have contracted a pelvic infection
  • Have an IUD

As with any form of exercise, using Kegel weights has potential risks. They include irritation, discomfort or pain, and in rare cases, tearing. The best way to mitigate your risks is to choose the right product for your body, and to ensure that you use it correctly.

Follow our guidelines to select the appropriate size and weight for your body and carefully follow the included instructions for proper technique to safely use our product. Check the packaging for important relevant information before use.

How Do You Prepare Your Kegel Balls?

For your safety and the longevity of the product, it's important to practice good hygiene when handling and using your vaginal weights.

Be sure to:

  • Wash your hands with antibacterial soap thoroughly before you handle them.
  • Wash the silicone weights with a mild soap in warm water.
  • Dry them off using a clean towel.
  • Apply a generous amount of a water-based lubricant to the weights to ease insertion. Do not use silicone- or oil-based lubricant, as it can damage them or cause irritation.

How Do You Insert Kegel Balls?

Kegel balls are effective only if used correctly. Once you have prepared the the weight as instructed, begin by applying a small amount of water-based (NOT silicone- or oil-based) lubricant to your vaginal opening, then get into position.

Find a relaxed and comfortable position (sitting or standing) and gently insert the prepared weight into your vagina the same way as you would insert a tampon. The cord should remain outside of your body. Once you have the weight comfortably in place, tighten your pelvic floor muscles to hold it inside.

If it feels as though it's falling out, gently push it back in. Our product should feel secure in your vaginal canal while you perform the exercise.

Whether the goal of your Kegel weight training program is to regain control of your bladder, strengthen your pelvic floor to prevent organ prolapse, tone your muscles after childbirth, or simply increase the intensity of your orgasms, our Kegel Weights -Set of 7 will deliver results. Our satisfied customers can attest to the effectiveness of our product.
