How Do You Prepare Your Kegel Balls?

For your safety and the longevity of the product, it's important to practice good hygiene when handling and using your vaginal weights.

 

Be sure to:

  • Wash your hands with antibacterial soap thoroughly before you handle them.
  • Wash the silicone weights with a mild soap in warm water.
  • Dry them off using a clean towel.
  • Apply a generous amount of a water-based lubricant to the weights to ease insertion. Do not use silicone- or oil-based lubricant, as it can damage them or cause irritation.

How Do You Insert Kegel Balls?

Kegel balls are effective only if used correctly. Once you have prepared the the weight as instructed, begin by applying a small amount of water-based (NOT silicone- or oil-based) lubricant to your vaginal opening, then get into position.

 

Find a relaxed and comfortable position (sitting or standing) and gently insert the prepared weight into your vagina the same way as you would insert a tampon. The cord should remain outside of your body. Once you have the weight comfortably in place, tighten your pelvic floor muscles to hold it inside.

 

If it feels as though it's falling out, gently push it back in. Our product should feel secure in your vaginal canal while you perform the exercise.
